Roomba you need

There are many robot vacuums available to buy today, and iRobot is one of the leading companies on the market. Roomba’s come in several options, but we particularly enjoy the s9+ model. Sold with a massive base station, this robovac empties itself, so you don’t have to worry about it running for about a month.

This is one of the most powerful RoboVacs from iRobot’s collection, with 40x suction power and a 3-stage cleaning system. It first picks up, loosens, and then removes dirt and pet hair from carpets and hardwood floors. Since you can control the device with your voice, you can even tell it to “clean under the table” for example, sending it on a quick cleaning job for whatever you need it to do.

The Roomba J7+ is also a self-emptying robovac that works wonders, especially since you won’t have to worry about taking out the mess for 60 days. It’s a perfect addition to any household with pets, as it can collect all the hair. Don’t worry, though, it won’t gobble up any “surprise goodies” left behind by your pet, as it’s smart enough to avoid them.

The normal way to connect the Nintendo Switch to your TV is by placing it in a dock. But what if you don’t have a dock? Or worse – what if your Nintendo Switch dock breaks? Can you connect the Switch to your TV without the dock?

Why Connect Nintendo Switch to TV Without Dock?

If you have a nice, fully functional Nintendo Switch dock, then worrying about connecting the console to a TV may seem pointless. After all, this is one of the major purposes of the dock, along with charging the Switch.

But what if the dock breaks? After all, it’s a pretty lightweight piece of kit. It can be easily broken, crushed or broken after a fall.

There are other reasons as well. If you take your Nintendo Switch on vacation and find that there’s a big TV you can use for multiplayer action, you’re stuck. You probably haven’t packed the doc.

Not to mention, it’s quite nice to have the Switch in full view instead of hidden away in the dock. If you prefer to play Switch games with the console mounted on a stand, it’s nice to have the option to swap to the big screen. It is also an option that you usually do not have.

How a Nintendo Switch Normally Connects to a TV

Video and power cabling are routed to the back of the dock on the Nintendo Switch. You probably remember from setting up the device that the ports are covered by a hinged door. On the back you’ll find a USB-C power input, a USB 3.0 port for additional storage, and an HDMI output, respectively.

Power and data for all of these connections is routed to USB-C, which is then routed to the bottom of the dock. Here, a USB-C port connects to a docked Nintendo Switch. This single port charges the battery and keeps the device powered on while docked. It also routes video data to your TV via HDMI and manages data from USB storage devices.

You can use the Joy-Cons individually, attached to the Joy-Con Grip, or use the Switch Pro Controller as you normally would. Other than the absence of a Nintendo Switch dock, there shouldn’t be any difference in the experience.

As you can see, this is a relatively straightforward process. However, it won’t work with all USB-C to HDMI adapters. You need to make sure you have an adapter that is compatible with the Nintendo Switch.
